DAY 1 – Ambala – Shimla (Approx. 200 km / 7–8 hrs)
Upon arrival at Ambala Railway Station, you will be warmly welcomed by our driver who will assist you with your transfer to Shimla, the former summer capital of British India and one of the most popular hill stations in Himachal Pradesh.
The scenic drive to Shimla takes you through beautiful hills, pine forests, and charming mountain villages, offering stunning views of the Himalayas along the way. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax after the journey. The rest of the evening is free to enjoy the pleasant weather and peaceful surroundings of Shimla. Overnight stay in Shimla.
DAY 2 – Shimla – Kufri Excursion – Shimla Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Kufri, a charming hill station located about 16 km from Shimla and known for its breathtaking Himalayan views and adventure activities.
Visit the famous Himalayan National Park, where you may spot wildlife such as Himalayan birds, deer, and other rare species. You can also enjoy optional pony or yak rides through the scenic trails of Kufri (on direct payment basis).
Later return to Shimla for local sightseeing. Visit the historic Vice Regal Lodge, once the residence of the British Viceroy of India and now an important heritage building. Continue to Christ Church, one of the oldest churches in North India, known for its beautiful stained-glass windows.
Walk through the lively Mall Road and The Ridge, the heart of Shimla’s social life, lined with cafes, shops, and colonial buildings. Also visit Gaiety Theatre and Scandal Point, famous landmarks with historical significance. Spend the evening shopping or enjoying local cuisine. Overnight stay in Shimla.
DAY 3 – Shimla – Manali (Approx. 265 km / 8–9 hrs)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your scenic drive to Manali, a beautiful hill town located in the Beas River Valley. During the journey, enjoy picturesque views of mountains, valleys, and rivers.
En route stops include Sundernagar Lake, a peaceful lake surrounded by hills, and Pandoh Dam, built on the Beas River. You will also pass through Kullu Valley, famous for its apple orchards, shawls, and handicrafts. Visit the Vaishno Devi Temple in Kullu for blessings.
Arrive in Manali by evening and check in to your hotel. Overnight stay in Manali.
DAY 4 – Manali Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, begin your exploration of Manali.
Visit the ancient Hadimba Devi Temple, located amidst a dense cedar forest. This unique wooden temple is dedicated to Goddess Hadimba and is one of the most important attractions of Manali.
Next visit Manu Temple, dedicated to Sage Manu, believed to be the creator of mankind according to Hindu mythology. Continue to Van Vihar, a peaceful park with tall deodar trees and a small lake ideal for relaxation.
Later visit Vashisht Village, known for its ancient temples and natural hot water springs, believed to have medicinal properties.
For adventure lovers, you may take an optional trek to Jogini Waterfall, a scenic walk through forests and small villages. In the evening, explore Manali Mall Road, famous for shopping, cafes, and local handicrafts.
Overnight stay in Manali.
DAY 5 – Solang Valley – Atal Tunnel Excursion
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Solang Valley, one of the most popular adventure destinations in Himachal Pradesh. Here you can enjoy thrilling activities such as paragliding, skiing, zip-lining, ATV rides, and snow activities (optional and on direct payment basis).
Later drive through the famous Atal Tunnel, one of the longest highway tunnels in the world at high altitude, connecting Manali with the Lahaul-Spiti region. Return to Manali by evening and relax. Overnight stay in Manali.
Alternative Excursion:
Visit Rohtang Pass (subject to permit and weather conditions). Located at an altitude of 3979 meters, Rohtang Pass offers breathtaking views of glaciers, snow-covered peaks, and the Lahaul Valley.
Note: Rohtang Pass is usually closed from November to May due to heavy snowfall.
DAY 6 – Kasol – Manikaran (Approx. 80 km / 3 hrs)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Kasol, a scenic village located on the banks of the Parvati River and popularly known as the Mini Israel of India.
On the way, visit Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara, one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites for Sikhs and Hindus. The site is famous for its natural hot water springs, where food is traditionally cooked as part of the community kitchen. Enjoy beautiful views of the Parvati River and surrounding mountains. In the evening, explore Kasol Market and riverside cafés, known for their relaxed atmosphere and scenic views.
Overnight stay in Kasol.
DAY 7 – Kasol – Dharamshala (Approx. 240 km / 7–8 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and proceed towards Dharamshala, a beautiful hill town known for its Tibetan culture and serene environment.
Enjoy the scenic drive through lush valleys and picturesque mountain landscapes. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax.
Overnight stay in Dharamshala.
DAY 8 – Dharamshala – McLeodganj – Dalhousie
After breakfast, visit the charming town of McLeodganj, the residence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and an important center of Tibetan culture.
Visit the famous Dalai Lama Monastery, a peaceful spiritual center surrounded by mountains. Continue to Bhagsunath Temple and Bhagsu Waterfall, a popular pilgrimage and tourist spot. Also visit Dal Lake, a small but picturesque lake surrounded by deodar trees, and the War Memorial, dedicated to the brave soldiers of Himachal Pradesh. Later drive to Dalhousie, a charming hill station known for its colonial architecture and scenic beauty.
Check in to the hotel upon arrival. Overnight stay in Dalhousie.
DAY 9 – Dalhousie – Khajjiar Excursion
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Khajjiar, often referred to as the Mini Switzerland of India. Khajjiar is famous for its lush green meadows, dense deodar forests, and breathtaking mountain views.
You can enjoy activities like horse riding, zorbing, or simply relaxing in the beautiful surroundings. Later visit Panchpula, a scenic spot with waterfalls and natural streams, and Subhash Baoli, a peaceful place associated with Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
Return to Dalhousie in the evening. Overnight stay in Dalhousie.
DAY 10 – Dalhousie – Ambala Departure (Approx. 320 km / 8–9 hrs)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your drive back to Ambala Railway Station. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off for your onward journey.
Your memorable Himachal tour concludes with wonderful experiences and beautiful memories of the Himalayan mountains.
Cancellation 45 days or more before departure:
Booking amount for per person will be applicable, along with any non-refundable expenses incurred at the time of cancellation (e.g., flight/train tickets, hotel bookings, permits, etc.).
Cancellation between 44 to 30 days before departure:
75% of the total package cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
Cancellation within 30 days of departure:
100% of the total package cost will be charged, irrespective of the services utilized or confirmed.
Note: All cancellations must be communicated in writing. The date of receipt of the cancellation request will be considered for calculation of the cancellation charges.
