DAY WISE ITINERARY

Karnataka– Coorg – Mysore – Ooty Tour
Duration: 6 Nights / 7 Days
Experience the beautiful landscapes of South India including the coffee hills of Coorg, the royal heritage
of Mysore, and the scenic hill station of Ooty.

DAY 1 – ARRIVAL BANGALORE – TRANSFER TO COORG
Upon arrival at Bangalore Airport or Railway Station, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative who will assist you with your onward journey to Coorg, also known as the Scotland of India, famous for its lush coffee plantations and misty hills.
The drive to Coorg takes approximately 5–6 hours, passing through scenic countryside and small towns. En route, visit Dubare Elephant Camp, located on the banks of the River Kaveri. Here you can observe elephants in their natural habitat and enjoy optional activities such as elephant bathing, feeding, or elephant safari (on direct payment basis).
After arriving in Coorg, check in to your hotel and relax. Spend the evening at leisure enjoying the pleasant climate and peaceful surroundings of this hill station.

DAY 2 – COORG LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Coorg.
Begin your visit at Talakaveri Temple, located on the Brahmagiri Hills, believed to be the origin point of the sacred River Kaveri. The place offers beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding hills. Continue to Bhagamandala, a sacred pilgrimage site where the rivers Kaveri, Kannike, and Sujyoti meet. Visit the famous Bhagandeshwara Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Next, visit the historic Omkareshwara Temple, known for its unique architecture that combines Islamic and Gothic styles.
Proceed to Madikeri Fort, a historic landmark in Coorg that offers insights into the region’s past and houses a small museum. Later visit the beautiful Abbey Falls, a stunning waterfall surrounded by coffee plantations and lush greenery, making it one of Coorg’s most popular attractions. Return to the hotel in the evening.

DAY 3 – COORG – MYSORE
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to the royal city of Mysore. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax.
Later proceed for sightseeing in Mysore. Visit the magnificent Mysore Palace, one of the most beautiful palaces in India, known for its stunning architecture, royal interiors, and vibrant history.
In the evening, visit Krishnarajasagar Dam (KRS Dam) and the famous Brindavan Gardens, located below the dam. The gardens are known for their beautifully landscaped lawns and the spectacular musical fountain show held in the evening. Return to the hotel after sightseeing.

DAY 4 – GORKY PARK | KOK TOBE HILL
After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to Chamundi Hills, where you will visit the famous Chamundeshwari Temple, dedicated to Goddess Chamundi. From the hilltop, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire city of Mysore.
Next visit the Shri Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery, located in the historic Jaganmohan Palace, which houses a rich collection of paintings and artworks including works by Raja Ravi Varma. Continue to St. Philomena’s Church, one of the largest churches in India, known for its magnificent Neo-Gothic architecture and stained-glass windows.
Later drive to Srirangapatna, the historic island town that once served as the capital of Tipu Sultan’s kingdom. Visit the famous Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Also explore Srirangapatna Fort and the Gumbaz, the beautiful mausoleum of Tipu Sultan. Return to the hotel in Mysore.

DAY 5 – MYSORE – OOTY
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Ooty, popularly known as the Queen of Hill Stations, located in the scenic Nilgiri Hills.
Enjoy the beautiful drive through winding mountain roads, forests, and tea plantations. Upon arrival in Ooty, check in to the hotel and relax. In the evening, you can explore the Ooty town and local markets, famous for homemade chocolates, tea, spices, and handicrafts.

DAY 6 – OOTY SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, proceed for a full day of sightseeing in Ooty.
Start with a visit to the famous Government Botanical Garden, which features beautifully landscaped gardens and a wide variety of rare plants and flowers. Next visit Ooty Lake, where you can enjoy a relaxing boat ride surrounded by scenic hills. Continue to Doddabetta Peak, the highest point in the Nilgiri Hills, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys and forests.
Enjoy a ride on the famous Nilgiri Mountain Railway (Toy Train), a UNESCO World Heritage attraction that offers a charming journey through tunnels, bridges, and beautiful landscapes. Later visit Shooting Point, a picturesque location used for many film shootings.
Also visit Ootacamund Gymkhana Golf Club, one of the oldest and most scenic golf courses in India. End the day with a visit to Emerald Lake, a serene and less crowded lake surrounded by lush greenery.
Return to the hotel in the evening.

DAY 6 – OOTY – COIMBATORE DEPARTURE
After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
You will be transferred to Coimbatore Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. Your tour concludes with wonderful memories of the beautiful hill stations and heritage cities of South India.

Cancellation 45 days or more before departure:
Booking amount for per person will be applicable, along with any non-refundable expenses incurred at the time of cancellation (e.g., flight/train tickets, hotel bookings, permits, etc.).

Cancellation between 44 to 30 days before departure:
75% of the total package cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

Cancellation within 30 days of departure:
100% of the total package cost will be charged, irrespective of the services utilized or confirmed.

Note: All cancellations must be communicated in writing. The date of receipt of the cancellation request will be considered for calculation of the cancellation charges.
